I haven’t done a tablescape on my small kitchen table lately, and today seemed like a good time to add a touch of fall to my kitchen. You have seen all of these elements before…most of them very recently, as a matter of fact…but hopefully I have tried to use them in slightly different ways so that the kitchen table will still look unique.
I decided on fall leaves as my theme today, so of course I had to use my Dollar General placemats. By the way, excuse my dark photos today. It is very cloudy and we are hoping for some much-needed rain, but none yet. So my dark wood table looks even darker right now.
Square taupe Wal Mart plates are topped with my BH&G leaf plates, a favorite Wal Mart purchase from a long time ago.
I had a hard time deciding on the top layer, but finally settled on the most recently purchased leaf plates.
I love the autumnal colors of these plates and the variation in the shading.
Looking through the fall napkins, I decided on the rust-colored ones with…what else?…the autumn leaf napkin rings.
My everyday Chateau is what I use most often on my kitchen table because we really do use this flatware every day.
Of course, I wanted to use some salt and pepper shakers, so what better ones to use than fall leaves? These came from Family Dollar a long time ago.
The other pair of fall leaf shakers I found a few years ago at a thrift shop. I think I spent about one whole quarter on the pair.
Dollar Tree fall goblets finish the place setting.
Of course, I also had to use my harvest wine charms… the fall leaf, naturally.
I thought that this acorn one would be appropriate also.
As you know, my kitchen table is too small for a centerpiece, so I usually choose to do a small vignette on one end of the table. I stuck some fall leaves around my beautiful Hobby Lobby fall candle. I love the colors of this candle…and the scent as well!
My fall leaf votive holders (Dollar Tree…a long time ago) are the perfect finishing touch.
Love my simple fall kitchen table! I love to do autumn tablescapes.
I’m not sure why they are my favorite ones to do. As a matter of fact, I have recently moved all of my fall tablescaping items to a larger Sterilite storage box!
Have a great week, a great fall, and a wonderful time of enjoying fall décor!
